Our visit to the museum yesterday was such a wonderful experience.
We booked a place on the late-night tour and, through stories and exhibits, were taken on a journey through the whole story of Operation Switchback.
Over the years, we’ve visited quite a few museums dedicated to military history, but this one really left a lasting impression on us.
The exhibits really bring the story to life, and everything has been arranged with great care and attention to detail.
A visit to this museum is an absolute must for anyone who wants to learn more, in any way at all, about this ‘forgotten’ chapter of the Second World War.
It’s well worth making a detour to come here.
