On Friday 3 July 2026, the “For Freedom Museum” was honoured for its many years of unwavering dedication to the Canadian liberators of our region.
Danny and Freddy Jones, along with eight other nominees, received a Canadian honour from the Minster of Veterans Affairs, Jill McKnight
The ceremony took place at the Talbot House in Poperinge.
This is the first time this honour has been awarded to individuals outside Canada!
